I was at my local Chevy dealer the other day with my IROC and was perusing the Technical Service Bulletins. I found the one about the Corvettes roof failures. They have the VIN sequences identified for the affected vehicle. They consider it a "repair issue" and not a recall issue. That is until one of those roofs flies off and goes through the window of school bus and kills someone's child. Can you say product liability lawsuit?

I just got it back after getting the 1/4 panel dent fixed. (At least the T-Tops don't blow off at 85mph) I was going to submit it for the members rides section but I am kind of embarassed cuz it's a relatively common, late 80's car. It's damn fast though! I got the GM of Canada docs on the car. It's very neat that they have the info on later US produced cars that Detroit doesn't even have.
