Default Re: Another L78 on eBay w/ Canadian docs - 68 Camaro!

I remember this car from about 7 years ago. At the time car was being sold without original motor. It was the first documented SS '67 or '68 car I have ever seen that came from the factory with non-powered drum brakes. A Non - powered drum brake L78! Imagine stopping that puppy at the end of a run! Cool thing too was that it is basically a no optioned car except for the L78, muncie and Z22.

I know, I know, there are disk brakes on it now.

So a few years ago it didn't have the original motor and not it has. Hmm imagine that. I would love to see the pad stamp to see if it was stamped correctly.

I don't have a problem with adding disc brakes but he should have at least used the correct master cylinder. That 70's style looks out of place.

If you are going to spend a lot of money restoring a car at least you should do it correctly. While he was getting the correct master cylinder he should have picked up the correct SS grill emblem and gas cap. Many more problems then that.

Hey Rick,

Don't you get it? All Ontario cars majically grow back their original drivetrains with low mileage! Must be the water up here.

I completely forgot about that. What was I thinking? Gives a new meaning to "miracle grow."
