Correct me if I am wrong but shouldn't that car have RAIV decals on the shaker? The III's didn't but I thought the IV's did. BTW nice car, if you get more pics I would love to see them.

The original ones that I've seen did not come with Ram Air IV decals. And this one did not come with them either. The convential wisdom is, that they did not come with Ram Air IV decals.

Chief,..straighten out some confusion. I thought the first generation TransAms,.67-70, were the last with the 400 c.i., Ram Air III and IV. The 70 1/2-74 TransAms(2nd Gen like mine) I thought were only available with the 455HO, and later the SD. Am I wrong?

As far as F bodies go '67-'69 birds had the 400 motor as an option, '67 had a Ram Air I option, '68 had Ram Air I and II option, but only the '69 Firebird and Trans Am had the Ram Air III and IV option. In 1970 only the Trans Am could be ordered with a Ram Air IV. '71 and '72 only came with 455 H.O. , no other motor option availible for those two years.
