So, my vote would be to include all big block applications.
Make it the defacto BBC only site.

I agree with Steve. However, if it is 'THE' defacto BBC only site, you must include the late model GMMG Camaros. They were built in the same spirit as the early Yenkos, Baldwins, Nickeys, etc... There are members here that own them and I'll bet they would be willing to help with info.

Another dedicated site that is small but growing is the pace car site. http://www.camaropacecars.com/

The pace car site is very good... they are as detail oriented over there as anyone... the site is set up very clean and easy to navigate.
I disagree with including late model CMMG cars in the site.
If that were the case then you would need to go through 72 as well because they had BB.
Stick with the first gen's.

I have been a member of the pace car site and many others for a while and agree with many of the layouts. I personaly feel that a new site should include the lower horsepower 396's as well but leave it at first gen only, at least for now. The amount of data that would have to be put together along with set up, editing, etc. will be titanic to say the least. Plus trying to research an entirely new area the CMMG's for example and verify the data would be more than I can handle right now. I do like the way that the second gen is set up as well but for the registry portion I would not list vin or body numbers, more likely running totals with breakdowns to models, options, etc. One of the biggest questions would be building a forum into it, do we realy need or want another one, camaros.net I find to be a great Camaro specific forum site, as well as this one and many of the others.

My real intent is to help promote the history of the cars out there and help people ID, document and restore them to the best of my ability and those that choose to help out in that respect.
