Just re-read Mister Turner's post. Died and gone to Heaven? That's not what I want. Might have to reconsider who does my work.

May I make a suggestion? Try Craig Bartling...he did my L-78 carb...looks AND performs flawlessly...quick turn around, at least it was done when he said it would be, and price wise, he was MORE than competitive with any other restored carb I've ever seen and visually I couldn't see a difference. I didn't even have to set the idle...

He told me his e-mail link is down so call him...

Have used Craig for Rochester and Holley. Bench tests them upon receipt and after rebuild. Good man, good turn around, fair price, good product.

Thanks all again for the kind words.

As far as Pony Carbs or The Carb Shop, I've never dealt with either, and I've never heard anything bad about either company.

If you want the baddest hot rod carburetor on the planet, you'd do well to talk to Patrick James of Pro Systems. I don't know if he does any re-coloring/restoration work or not, but his race carbs are absolutely top-shelf.

Craig Bartling is a good business friend of mine, and his restoration work is top-shelf as well.

Randy;

Glad to be of help.

Eric

Eric.....rest assured if I ever encounter a carb problem that I can't handle, you've got the job. Thanks again for taking time from your busy day several times, to answer my questions and look up part numbers. You're the best!
