For the past few years when you sell your car in Canada you need to get your car appraised and the buyer pays tax on that value. No more writing a bill of sale for $50. or $5,000. The Govt needed to get in on the mega buck increase car prices on classic cars.

That's easy to get past. Everyone knows a shop who will write the appraisal out for whatever price you want.
