Default Re: Comfortable with your masculinity?

When I was 16 my mom was looking for a new car. We were at Nortell Olds in Chicago in February of 1972 and they had two left over 1971 Cutlass SX convertibles in their inventory. These were both 455 powered bucket seat white interior Cutlass SX cars. Since I would be driving this car also, you would think this would be a pretty neat car for a 16 year old kid and he'd be pushing his mom to get it, she liked the car very much. They were willing to cut the price drastically to move these left over 1971's. The catch; both cars were PLAYBOY PINK. I figured that I'd get hassled to no end if I showed up in High School with a pink car. We ended up with a 1972 orange 442. Anyone in the Chicago area remember these Playboy Pink 1971 Cutlass SX cars roaming the streets? I understand that Nortell Olds had ordered a few of them. One was at the Olds Nationals in Dallas a few years ago.
