Wow...these pics are far better than any of Xplantdad`s.
My opinion is if your going to bring her all back to original....than that means the spoiler too. I love it. ![]() Dan.

Frank- The car spent most of its life in Decatur Il. Someone prior to me did a title search so I have most of them. The guy that sent the pics said he has owned over 20 musclecars. Very nice fellow.
Dan- Short spoiler huh? Easier said than done. If 3M blue painters tape will cover up the quarter holes I might consider it. ![]() Sam- I was wondering that myself. Looks like the tips might have been removed??

Sam, I'm quite sure that ALL the 70 Camaro SS 396's got the chrome tailpipes......and I'm pretty sure the SS-350 (L-48) did also.....but need more survivor/original pictures.

The first time I replaced them I went to Baierl Chevrolet in Wexford PA and bought 3 new chrome pipes (all they had and all the counter man said they would ever have because of being discontinued), I put two on the car and saved one for future use and the hope that I could find one more. However I think the pipes I had were chrome from end to end not welded. I still have the one so I will look to see if I am correct about this. I think Gardner Exhaust makes the correct system for 70-73 with the chrome pipes.

OK, I found the pipe I think I bought 20+ years ago from a Chevy dealer. Could this be a aftermarket pipe sold by a dealer?

Does anyone have an opinion on if this is a Dealer part or Aftermarket?
