Could be a 327 also. [/ QUOTE ] Did the X codes and 327 overlap? I know the 327 was phased out when the 307 appeared as the base V8. So if you had a 327 X44 car it would have to be late Dec to Jan, right?

Kurt, a technical question. On the later COPO's they started coding them with X44D80 (and X11D80) and although it is theoretically possible that you could have a base car with spoilers, has anyone actually ever documented an X44D80 trim tag on a car that was NOT a COPO or Yenko?

I have seen several X44D80 and X11D80 cars that were not COPOs.
