Al, do you know Bill Rose in Somerset? I just shipped a steering wheel to him today for his 68 Chevelle.
My new engine will be done next week. Here is my combo: 427 + .060 4 bolt block, 7/16 floating pin rods with Wiseco pistons with approx 10.3 to 1 compression, sq. port 840 (110 CC) cast heads with 2.19/1.88 Manley stainless valves, Crane Gold roller rockers, Crane hydraulic cam with 282 duration and 533 lift, Edelbrock RPM intake with an 850 Holley and 2" Hooker headers. This is going in my 68 Beaumont SD with a 400 trans with a 2500 stall converter and 3.42 posi rearend. What do you think of this combo? What would you guess the hp to be? Thanks, James
