COPO RS on Ebay

There was a silver COPO that hit a tree in the Niagara Falls or the Niagara on the Lake area and the driver was killed. The car surfaced a number of years later as a rebody...is this supposed to be that car?

PHIL S states that he bought this car in Toronto from a Frank M. Friends of mine that know him said to me yesterday that he is very talented in building Camaro's and Chevelle's They also said that a few years back he was selling a black LS6 Chevelle Atlanta built with no paper work with an October build date on the trim tag.

Sounds like the same Frank M. in Toronto that I bought my LS6 from. He only had it a short time and basically bought it to flip it. He did do some final assembly as the car was part way through a freshen up resto at the time he purchased it.

I sold my blue RS/Z28 to a Frank M. in 2004 who then restored it and resold it, that car was on Ebay last week and had to end early due to pressures from members of this site to properly represent the car.

Where did you come up with that?

My LS6 is a 12E Leeds built car.

Look at the post by Rick Cell above yours. He was saying the guy had a supposedly LS-6 built in Oct and then you state that you bought an LS-6 from the guy. Perhaps a mis-read the two posts, but it appeared to be the same car, hence my question and confusion.

Ah, got it. I can see how you might make that association. I only meant that he's apparently flipped a few. Mine is Cortez Silver, has GM Canada docs and owner history back to 1972. Still searching for that elusive original owner! The car was sold originally in Toronto, then went to Thunder Bay with the second owner where it stayed until finding it's way back to Toronto in 1999.
