I hope this car is real, these B-M cars are awesome! Who can blame the guy for doubling his asking price, way to go! I think he should keep taking offers from the sharks with deep pockets until the price of buying plus the cost of restoration leaves no profit margin or have more in the car than its worth, then flipping it for a profit would be out the window and the collector that truly wants it bad enough ends up with. If the seller does not have a signed contract with buyer he should back up and post the car starting at $100K, and then see who really wants it!

One thing about this situation here bothers me. I have seen on this site and other sites where people post about a car they found sitting in a garage some where and bought it for way under the value of the car. There was a guy that came on here a few months ago bragging about a car that he bought from a "little old lady" and other members started ripping him a new one for taking advantage of the lady he bought it from. I believe it was an early model 442 but it's not important what kind of car it was. Why is this any different? People are upset because they missed out on this car for 25% of what it's worth. Is it OK to buy a "supercar" for under market value but not OK to buy a $10,000 car for $2000. Is there a double standard here? Just my opinion.

James, if you read my post I was informing him that his car was worth "more" than a motion modified car. At no time was I trying to "pull the wool over his eyes"

Sure thing Charley the only trouble is that we can only get in touch with him trough a PO box and he now needs permission from his friend with the motion car to let other people see it now that it's so valuable

Rich, I wasn't directing this at you or anyone else in particular. I was just making an observation.
