Thanks for the input Joe! The car was 100% original paint until 2 years ago when he took the car out for a cruise and got swiped by some girl on the front fender. The whole fender had to be repainted. You'd never know though by just looking at it. It's a beautiful car.

Post some pictures of the car if you have any... Nothing comes close to an actual inspection of the car, but its alot easier to put a value on something if you at least have some decent photos of it.

He lives in St Paul Park, MN about an hour and 1/2 from me. I'll see what I can come up with.

Tommy,
The car is only minutes from me but unfortunately I am headed outstate tomorrow to look at an LS6 and wont be back till late Sunday night or I would try to help you out. I know a little about '68 Impalas. I agree with Bud on the price but maybe just a little more only because today $7-8K buys you very little even for a newer grocery getter.

I like the look of the 68's. On the other thread asking about what we'd buy for less than $20-22K I mentioned I like the late 60's BB Bel Airs. If this Impala was the same as mentioned but with the 396/325 how much would you think that would help with the price? Also it would have a TurboHydromatic or a 4spd then.
