Rectangular port heads are quite common to find. If you
are hunting specific dates, that will be a little tougher.

The problem with ported heads is that you never really know
how well ( or no so well ) these heads were ported and you
could open up a can of worms.

As I've embarked on building several big blocks in the past
four years, I have always gone for totally stock heads in
both cast iron and aluminum. If I choose to port them, and
I'm not talking about gasket matching, I can be in total
control of that.
