Back to the '68 'velle that started this questionaire, the full option list FWIW, (I find this stuff fascinating
 ):L34 350HP Turbo-jet V8 N96 Mag-style wheel covers A39 Deluxe front and rear belts K02 Emp. control fan D96 Accent striping U14 Spec. instruments N40 Power steering G80 Positraction axle 355R U63 AM radio U57 Stereo tape system ZJ9 Aux. lighting engine code T0920EF, Trans W0901, sold new on 10/12/67 - so it was an early car.

My 68 Chevelle has KO2, sometimes called heavy duty cooling. Mine was sold in Alabama. It could be an added option for towing, southern heat, high trafic areas in heat, etc.
