Two underated cars that really ran well. I remember both in the old days. Jim Bowie Rambler Conchohocken, Pa. He had them.

those are 2 cools cars..

I've got a video of a stock s/c running 14 flat and another out on the highway getting every which way but straight thru 3 gears. Pretty impressive power to say the least.

I remember in the mid 1970's we had a "Rebel Machine" in my neighborhood. The car would go sideways from first gear to third gear. It was a beast! Good luck with the cars.

Thanx for all the kudo's guys. The Rebel Machine originated from Illinois as far as I could tell. 390, 4 spd, original 25A paint which means it was one of the 1000 produced in the patriotic red white and blue theme for 1970. Needs some work, mostly cosmetic. The SC/Rambler originated in Aston, PA, made a large circle coming back to the Aston area 35 years later, after several races, engines and owners. The guy I purchased (both of them from) remembered the SC/Rambler new at the dealership and still knows most of the owners. I'll redo this puppy up as original as I can, but the parts are a bear locating. I took one of these down the track in California while in the service back in the early 70's -- amazingly fast
