Looking for a original kickdown cable that was used on a 69 SS 350. The only thing available new is incorrect.

I just put a new one in my TH350 Tranny in the '70 Camaro 350.
I can try to dig out of the wrapping a part number. Works like a charm...

Thanks for the reply, but the cable changed configuration in 1970-on.
That's why an orginal kickdown for TH350's in 69 are so hard to find.... |

I have been looking for one for a while too. I have gotten one from a freind that I am going to take a mold of the adjustment plate. Then using a new one with the incorrect square adjuster removed, cast the correct shape over the cable. Dont know how it will look yet, but hopefully closer than the replacement ones.

Let me know how it turns-out.....
I would like to do the same thing, but finding an original cable to mold is the problem.... Good luck... |
