Hello Scott.......
Look at the top of this photo. You can see the bracket (only one in photo) toward the rear of the hood. Forgive my engine bay, gathering parts to "fix it".

Typical Ebay joke, you can buy the same bracket from Car Parts Discount (888 437-4272) off the shelf for $15.95.

The newer repops for the SS hood brackets are pretty good, but if the old ones are still on the hood, spend a little time and cut them out.
You can make a pretty good BB radiator support from a goodmark repop. Having a friend with a layout table, and computer programable plasma cutter helps.
