I wonder if this guy has a daughter???
It wouldn't matter what she looked like or how bad her personality was... someone needs to take one for the team!!!

That unbelievable. I'm not a big Pontiac fan but that a real shame. I know a guy with lots of vehicles and he says that famous line to. " I'm going to restore these one day" Yeah right be realistic, don't let them rust to death.

That's a shame, would like to rescue a couple of those cars.
Wouldn't take one for the team though!

these cars are a few miles from my house and have been there for many years(at least 10)someday the owner says he will restore them, most of the parts(consoles, tachs, bucket seats ect)have been stolen.its a real shamethere are 2 from what iam told are real 69 T/As.1 sd 455 car and a few h/o 455 cars.i know 1 trans am is real cause it was my dads many years ago.its a real shame!!!!

[/ QUOTE ]

Has anyone considered sneaking in to check the VIN on that priceless 69 rag top TA?? I mean obviously people already are sneaking since things are stolen you said. It would be worth it just to find out if this is the 8th ragtop 69' that is yet to be found. Someone with some bucks or even GM would want to know and I bet that they could coherce the guy who owns this TA graveyard to sell it!!

The cars are for sale.....at least that is what the man told me he hoped would happen who owns the land. Seems the T/A "collection" owner hasn't paid his rent for eons (imagine that), and the landlord is trying to convince him to sell a couple to pay up.

This is the story a gentleman gave me at Russo. I was next to a 69 T/A RAV (I know, I didn't think so either) and a man asked me who owned it. I told him I didn't know and he proceeded to tell me he was looking for someone to buy "some" '69 T/As. I tried to appear only casually interested (it was tough). He then recited the story above. Has to be these cars......unless he meant the lot down the road......
