Hey Bruce.........thanks for thinking of me!!!
![]() Hmmmmmmmm. a '64 dual quad '09 with A/C?????????? I don't think so........ ![]() You're doing such a good job, I hate to ask for more, but cowl tag shots of those '09 cars would be neat. '61s & '62s are tough - they're on the front of the firewall, just behind the driver's inner fender. '63s & '64s are on top of the cowl, under the rear edge of the hood, passenger side. I heard Yates is announcing those '09 cars as having "truck motors". What a bozo. ![]() Thanks again, Bruce!!! ![]() ![]() |

Actually last night a couple 09 cars went thru and Steve Magnante knew his stuff about them...so did Rick Debeul or whatever his name is...

Bob,
What were some of the selling prices of those cars? I haven't been able to watch it. (or should I just check the site?) thanks By the way, I'm not convinced they "know their stuff". I heard they mentioned one '62 with a complete '63 type engine chrome set-up was a "dealer kit" for '62....... ![]() |

He knew a little of the early history of the W..and was pretty positive about it...I saw 2 63's...one of them a 340 horse convert 4 speed go in the 50's...one was a supposed low mile 425 horse car..Silver Blue I think...looked restored but they said it was only painted..bench seat Impala

Thats the car I figured would have brought significant money. However, it did no better than the 409 Clone with a/c that went the night prior to it. I guess the market does not like low mile restored cars? They said it was painted and engine was absolutely restored.

Dan who knows what the car was like in person...Thursday is not the best night to go across but who knows. A 63 SS convert just went across at 138k plus fees !!! These announcers are pretty darn good. Steve Magnante is a gearhead.
