I think a "few" of those bidders own a tool box...in fact one of those bidders is a member of this site...and does excellent work. His car will be coming up in Members Rides soon...

I realized that you are generalizing...I can agree that some will never have the inclination or ability to work on their cars...but they've been successful in life...why not let them enjoy it?

I can only imagine.......just like the lottery!................................but to spend high dollar on cars that can be built & enjoyed ..... way too many "originals" are surfacing!!!.......( 10,000 milers !!!...."ALL OF A SUDDEN! no 1 person anticipated the boom, the growth, the desire, or the investment!!!!!!! so these less than 200 mile a year cars are so far fetched it is sickening!especially in "immaculant" condition! all I am trying to be is a bit .... realistic! I know a few are there for sure seen some .know of a few ..... but even the "never been touched " cars DO NOT HAVE CHROME THAN BLINDS YOU! regardless off studio lighting again I am not trying to be offensive...but come on now lets be a bit "real" everyone on this site seems to enjoy cars..in some way lets keep it in check!!!!

Hobby is different for people...some like to do them...some like them done...by the time you do them you wind up with a crapload of money in them anyway. Better off buying a good car done. Some of those Caddy converts were awsum and they were being stolen..

I looked at the low mile Z28 and believe it to be correct. There were a few little things like a heat shield under the carb but that was a very cool car. I know both bidders. The bidder that lost bought the gold L78 Camaro convert last year and the green low mile 68 L78 Camarto the year before. There are only a few untouched cars out there and they will bring a premium. The guy that bought the Z28 also bought the blue ZL1 at the Mecum auction for 800K. He knows exactly what he is doing.
