They just dont get it.
![]() What is Chevy's problem with reaching back and showcasing their own heritage through an updated (like the Challenger) design? They have this misguided view that the term "retro" is a dirty word. They are sorely misguided. This concept is too edgy, not a flowing graceful design like the 1st or 2nd generation cars. The grill has no resemblance to a Camaro, and that is the major problem. The soul of a muscle car is its nose: revise the front end with the grill of a 69 Rally Sport and you will have changed the whole car's demeaner for the better. Chevy is too busy trying to copy a "corporate" design theme like Dodge does with its cross hair grills. This car's grill looks like the 2001-2005 Impala - the one they just stopped building last year. If I was to give it a grade, it would be C+ with the Challenger getting an A- and the Mustang getting a B+. Looks like the wife will be getting a Challenger in a couple of years. |

Under 35K??? If thats the target price GM might as well put the tarp over it and drag it off to the show car warehouse, or the crusher right now. Better plan on knocking at least 10K off that target price to sell enough to justify building them.

[/ QUOTE ] Man, I hope I get a 30% cost of living raise over the next 3 years, but if history repeats I'll be lucky to pull in 9% total. |

I'd go for 30% cost of living raise in 3 years too!
I never bought/shopped for one, but I thought the 2002 Z28 Camaros were priced around $30K ![]() |
