Yea, it is fairly common for deuce owners to find the broadcast sheet for another Nova in their seats. The line workers simply grabbed 731 interior seats for the deuces, without regard to whether it was the matching body number - the vin # won't be on that sheet. It's a bummer, but.... Xitt happens

Actually on Nova's the VIN was assigned before paint. However Fisher did not care about VIN's that was a Chevy thing not Fisher.

That would depend on the year and when Fisher was integrated into the rest of the WR plant. In 69, I'm 98% that Fisher and WR hadn't been combined into GMAD. But I'll defer to JohnZ on this one. I can't remember when the different plants were integrated......
