I am trying to track down a green 69Yenko Nova in my neighborhood (kind of).The last time I said something about this car I said it was within 300mi. of me.Well I can tell you it is within 50-75mi.of me if it is still there.I tried to meet with the guy but he wasn't home.I shouldn't be such a procrastinator because the early bird gets the worm ya know.Guess I will make a point to find this car by May.If I cannot afford this car if he wants to sell it this board will be the first to know about it,so it will go to a great home where it will be appreciated for what it is.Time to go the kids are screaming at me to get off the net so they can get on.

There is a yellow Y Chevelle sans front clip reported to be within 35 miles of me. A buddy knows what farm it resides on, but isn't talking. I also know the person who happens to have the front clip off of it. It is a real car, and through multiple channels I have heard the same story. Who wants it?

I am unsure of whether or not it was rouny-rounded. I don't think so, but I haven't laid eyes on it yet. The front clip is unharmed and is in the hands of another enthusiast who is deperately seeking the car also. What is a thrashed one worth? Assume the worst because I can't verify condition. Those interested in VIN swapping and cutting and pasting need not apply.

I am just curious if I were to get the opportunity to purchase, what would it be worth? Quite honestly (and at the risk of making people angry) I am not interested in anything outside of the f-body line and would simply pass it on to help pay for my project. But, what is a reasonable figure to pay for what we must consider a basket case Y- Chevelle? Is there a point of decay it is not worth the gas to bring it home? We must also, incidentally, assume that the drivetrain is gone. Again, I don't know any of this and it is ALL speculation--

This car resides somewhere in the borders of this map. I don't know which farm yet, but I heard another account of it this weekend. I am working on it.

BTW, (trying to be politically correct as to how to word this) I think this may be one of the few Yenko cars sitting on a farm in Iowa that still retains its original tags- so I have heard.
