No, some were SuperTuned L78's. The common number of non-converted of cars is 7, however, this number is unsubstantiated.

Hi, Im new to this board, but have been reading it for a long time. My question is me and a friend have found a 69 nova 427 with the yenko stuff. I have not seen it yet but he says it is an original , sitting in a garage since 1980. I t was a former drag car with 9000 miles. The owner passed away that year. The wife is in her 70s, and wants it out of the garage. The catch is it is yellow. is this possibly a real yellow yenko? She claims it is , and has paper work and original title, they bought new ? thanks

Pics would be neat esp of the Cowl tag showing the yellow Paint.

Go buy it right now! Man, a Yenko 427 Nova with paperwork! That could be a $500,000 car so I wouldn't mess around with delaying. Go get it.

Wow! If I were you I'd be on my way to see the car with trailer in tow and cash in pocket. That would be an awsome find....if its real. I hope it is, there haven't been any good Yenko finds lately, that are made public anyway.
Good luck! Mike |
