Damm that was too easy Ed??? But Mark beat you first. Here are few more pictures of what is left of the car... It has been gutted so this is what is left of a car that has been rebodied.. I'll post more later when I get them uploaded.. Mark

Interesting find and a perfect example of what happens. . This thread could unfold into an even more interesting conclusion....please do post what you find. . I wonder if a re-Vin car exists now and if so, if it's been sold and what the owner knows? . If you bought this tagless hulk now, would you be the legal owner of this Vin and the tags if tracked down? ~ Pete

I have asked a few law enforcement people about who would own the tags, for a similar situation.
All of them said the same thing. The tags, if located, would be returned to the owner of the body that has the matching hidden VINs.
This was a few years ago. I don't know if it still would be true or not.
