Whats the story and maby I can give you some clues. I have been here for 44 years and live near the old VV Cooke lot.VV Jr had a bunch of old Corvettes when he closed so I wonder if it was one of them??

I knew VV jr too, KCC ,I built the car in 75, Started showing & race preping in 76, Mod : Eng, Trans, Suspension, Comp Race Harness, Fire Ext, Radio, Passed SCCA Insp.Sold to Collett Auto in 83, resold to David James, in 85 Still active tittle, says he sold car @ casper shoe . POOF

Thanks Mike, a Det.here ran a DMV< INS,Stolen,& wrecked Data Base ck. Supposed to have been sold 10/87, Taken off tax rolls in 2/29/88 Tittle still active in KY

Have you contacted the last known owner? If so, what did he say? I just did a search on the name and there are several "D. James" in KY. Start calling.

I have no knowledge of the car. I live in New Jersey. Please post a picture of the car.

Thanks Mikea, yes I have talked to the last owner,David James, Fleming Ave. Lou Ky.He lives across the street from thr person I sold it to,Tittle # 852000560078 is still active in his name, Says he sold it. Car was taken off tax rolls 4 mo after he was to have sold it.
