I'm guessing Heartbeat City bought the stuff. The buyer would need to be in the business to deal with all those parts. Dealing with all that stuff would mean a life change for someone not already in the business.

Interesting observation, Rick. I know I was surprised when I looked at the list of engines and saw lots of truck motors. Its not as though everything was rare and desirable.

Stephano,
What it was worth and what I would have been willing to pay are two different things. If you were a Corvette collector, you would have been in heaven. I was just hoping for more Chevelle and Camaro stuff then there was. Much of the parts were also later release items and not all that valuable. The engines for the most part were also not H/P and as was stated were mostly truck blocks. Still very cool collection and Larry was a super guy and very accomadation. I have a local friend who likely has a larger collection mostly comprised of Chevelle and Camaro parts. Thats what gets my heart pumping.

Exactly alot of the stuff was replacement parts with later date codes... however the early big brake Vettes and parts would be worth a fortune to some guys.

Here's what I just saw posted on there web site.

*****UPDATE*****

At this point we have not found a buyer for the whole lot of cars and parts. We would like to thank all that have visited and inquired about the cars and the parts. We have been truly blessed to meet so many people who share the love of cars that we have. We have received many calls, emails, and letters about the cars and parts. We have tried to respond to as many as possible in a timely fashion.

While we still have a few interested parties in the whole lot, this is a large lot and it makes for a complex transaction. If nobody buys the whole lot, we will sell some of the cars and the parts will be sold individually. For many items this is the only fair way to sell them as we have had multiple inquiries on many of the parts. If we do end up selling the items individually, we will start listing on Ebay Friday night, December 30. We will post on this website when we know more.

Hello everyone and Happy Holidays ! Newbie on this board and just wanted to chime in my experience on this find.
When I spoke to Larry about two weeks ago I had made arrangements to fly to Green Bay from California. There was a link to this thread on Team Camaro where I am a member. When I checked this thread out I discovered that Larry was taking bids. My impression was that I could go there and make a firm deal to purchase, not just look and then have to bid . I cancelled my trip as I did not want to participate in that kind of deal.Larry was very nice on the phone. I spoke to him many times. He told me the two 57 Corvettes were not for sale as two of the family members of the previous owner wanted those cars back.He indicated to me that he would sell the lot for somewhere between 1mm and 1.1 million .
My interest was in the Yenko only. I have a friend who is a caretaker for a large car collection in N. California that was going to take the rest of the collection...all I want is a real 1969 , 427 Camaro...is that too much to ask ?
