You have a good chance of receiving a "Second Chance Offer" in about 24 hours. The scammer will tell you the auction was taken down because of "Buy It Now" -- but the winner has defaulted. Then he'll offer you the item for a great deal.

By the way, if you get scammed now the Vlads always follow-up with a double-whammy:
The scammer sends an email to you and frantically explains that his shipping department accidentally sent you an extra item!!!!
He will demand another payment for the 2nd item or he'll have to turn the shipment around. He will then offer you the 2nd item at half price in order to "save him from duty taxes and shipping". You'd be surprised at how many people send the 2nd payment.
