my .02 on the link removal. Ed wishes to not Certify the cars any longer which is his right. Along with removing the VIN listings that we all wish we would have copied he also removed his links page as well. Guess if it were my site, I would have removed the links as well no matter which site.

Sorry to see Ed go. He was very helpful when I was considering various copo cars. Only mistake I made with him was not getting my copo car certified after I found the correct car. I figured all the documentation I have was more than enough. I would gladly pay his fee now if I could do it over again.

I want to thank ED, for all he has done for me, the help, research, and getting to the truth of the matter about my Corvair..There will always be questions as to right , and wrong, but as for me.. ED, did it by the book, I trust him in what he says, and does as far as my car is concerned, I wish him luck, and happiness in whatever he does in the future, I can't thank him enough for what he did for me in the past.....Kasey

I wrote Ed letters almost 20 years ago and he always replied back quickly. Looking back at some of the the lame questions I asked, I think of what a gentleman he is. I bought his original COPO Connection book and wore it out reading it. Ed, you will be missed.

I was just working with Ed to get my Connection paper for my COPO. My VIN was on the registry for less than 2 weeks..so close yet so far...fortunately I have good GM paper on my car!! He will be missed dearly, but family has to come first.

Just out of curiousity.......anyone here ever sell a car, or do other business with Ed, other than getting a car certified?

I have just returned from a long needed vacation in Florida, and just wanted to take a minute to thank all of you who wrote and called. I have been considering becoming less involved in the business end for a number of years, allowing me to enjoy the hobby a bit more. To end all speculation, there is no reason other than the fact that it has become too much work for me to handle, since I also have a full time job which has become much more demanding. Thanks again for your kind words.
