Tell him the price will include mowing down the weeds also..
That is a shame, could be a cool car.
Maybe money does not motivate him, trade him a car/truck.

Was it his personal car? Maybe the car belonged to his son and something happened to him?
Its a shame to see it just sit there... only time will tell!

He bought it new, and ordered it exactly the way he wanted.
He is a nice guy, who thinks he will eventually put the car on the road. I believe I will have an opportunity to save the car from further deterioration real soon. I know one thing...I won't give up.

Keep trying Steve, looks like a nice find, there are so many original owners like this guy, and not sure why.

take a new tarp over there and ask if he would mind if you covered it up for the winter...he may appreciate that you think enough of the car to at least protect it from the weather. he obviously still likes the car and may just need to know you plan to love it as much as he does..now leaving it in a field is weird if you really like something..but that is what that generation did when they parked a car. Just a idea.

Were you able to see the engine?

You read my mind. I went to home depot and purchased a tarp which I hope to install tomorrow.
