Phil ,mine has a diamond shape with the letters AOS & a numerical number 1 under the AOS all inside the diamond shape. it also say's lt.3990475 with no additional numbers added to the part #.

Phil you say there are markings for the early tooling & revision # 's added to the part # when the tooling was revised. didn't ask if i have real AOS end caps, just noting that i probably have early tooling caps since i don't have a revision # as you state.
