You could get an automatic in a 1967 Vette 427/400 hp but not in the 435 hp 427. The 400 hp got hydralic lifters and 435 hp cars solid lifters.

I thought in 67 corvettes the only automatic was a powerglide. I thought the turbo 400 would fit in the 68 and up corvette.

The 68 Gibb nova is the only solid lifer car with a automatic trans. In 1968 PERIOD.

Ed, That article says 3/4 the away down it. There would be no auto solid lifer cars that year. Also the 350 hp Nova with a auto was a hyd lifer motor. Kim

Thanks all, the numbers came back a 350 hp car with turbo 400...this is a rebody if I ever saw one, there is not much left..
