If you came in the summer,fog is probably all you saw.Good weather for Monterey (yes we do have some
 )is Nov-Jan usually.Good thing about this area is you don't have to go far if you want sun,generally to Carmel Valley or sometimes down the coast towards Big Sur.Lotta beauty here,that's for sure but it could be a tad warmer for my blood. I have a buddy who works at a big Chevy dealer in Superstition Springs and lives in Mesa.He's got a '69 SS clone in LeMans Blue.We will be there next year for B-J.
