These badges were on A car I was never able to get any information on and ended up selling (minus the badges). I talked with three owners and all said they have been on the car as long as they could remember which was at least sometime in the seventies. I kinda figured they had been ordered from one of the Motion catalogs or something. I'm aware of repops but not from that long ago. I'll try to get A picture of them posted.

OK, i dug out the camera... here are some pics of the "standard" Motion emblems... note how the entire emblem fits neatly into the valve cover recess...

Compare that to this one... its one of the above mentioned "larger" emblems, that has been cut down to fit inside the recess of the valve cover... notice the edges are removed, and the "M" and the "N" come out to the very edge of the recess. Before modification, these larger emblems have the same outer chrome edge as the smaller ones. Both of the valve covers and emblems in these photos are originals.

Thanks for posting those pictures. My pair would be the same as the larger ones except they have not been cut for the valve covers. they were on the fenders of the car. My camera and antique computer aren't being cooperative so no picture yet but thanks again for answering my question.
