If you like guitarists and have not heard Rory Gallagher find a copy of his "Irish Tour 74" live album. Walk on Hot coals is pretty cool. I heard he died a few years ago.

I used to have a black / gold Les Paul, 1965 vintage. Traded it straight across for a 1948 Dodge pickup. If anybody has an old beater LP from the 60's I'm interested, I think I will start plinkin around again in my old age..

I have been riding now for two days, and almost to Vegas. I thought about this thread when I looked thru the CD's and pulled out another all time favorite. "The best of the Guess Who". Who hear over 45 has not had at least a couple "good times" while listening to the Guess Who? LOL
Makes me want to hunt up a couple phone numbers of some old high school cheerleaders.......

  Charley...I'm going to check out the guy you mentioned...I just love listening to guitarists...Clapton included...simply amazing. Thanks for the tip!  There's a young lad here in Phoenix....name is JD Simo...he played at the Harley 100th Anniversary...he is awesome, too. Sorta like a young SRV...has the voice, too! JD Simo.
