Default Is this guy's Buy-It Now price out of line?

Or are big block F-Bodies bringing this kind of money? Interesting car and history if it can be authenticated. Thoughts?

Back in the day, my brother's friend had a new '68 Firebird 400/4-speed. He took it to the local Pontiac tuning guru and had that car running hard. I was 12 and it was the my first "real" ride in a muscle car. I can still remember turning around and seeing the black stripes coming out behind the car. Who's Jess Tyree?

I asked that same question; apparently he ran a Funny car back in the day. The seller placed him within the same group as Arnie "The Farmer" Beswick.

-----As far as I know Jess still races at nostalgia events out west. Hes an institution out there. Used to make headers, I believe. He has had a fascinating drag history that Ill bet some of the Cal. guys can fill in a bit.
-----Am I the only one who thinks this car is worth the buy-it-now??? 69 Birds are cool anyway and then you throw in the color and history and PHS and I think you have a winner here...........Bill S

------Geez,,,,just went back for another look and the car is in my back-yard,,,,,Hummmm!
