May not be a Camaro, but still one of my favorites!

Keep it Frost Green!
We have two Mosport Green Corvettes...
Very similar shade to Frost Green!

We also have a 1972 Nova SS in Silver Green which is on the silver side of Frost Green.
Frost green is created with a combination of blue, silver and yellow.
When you alter the shades of blue, and silver, you get all the shades in between Cortez Silver and Frost Green.
Spent a long while talking to my paint guy about this. Frost Green is such a period correct color! Leave it alone!

I choose option A. I have a 69 SS350 4speed convert with 727 59 A code (white standard interior, Frost green ext, white convert top and white hockey stripes). I will NOT be returning it to that combo, hell with the trim tag . It is going to be Olympic gold, black top and stripes and black deluxe comfortweave with PT, PB, PW, PS, RS, D80, ZL2, FD seat +. I am making it like I would have ordered it in 69. It's just going to take a little longer to make than GM did it.

I really like that train of thought, Just like you could order it. I was kicking around the idea of Keeping my 69 Z the non original Maroon it has always been as opposed to its original color Orange with white stripes and there are quite a few of those around here. Then I realized its supposed to have a black vinyl roof with black stripes so I will be putting it back to trim code Hugger Orange as that combo is one of my favorites. Plus it will look really cool sitting between two tuxedo black Z's

Sam, the SS lost most of its original parts in an accident before I bought it as a shell, so changing the look of it is not a problem for me. I've aquired almost everything casting correct and most date coded correct, so it will be just like the general did it (have the correct RS wiper motor with soleniod too). I even have original comfortweave seats that will be repaired and all original perfect door panels.

The mule on the other hand still has the original engine and will be brought back to its original color combo and 2bbl setup. I'm just swaping the PG (keeping it) and putting a TH350 in. K

Both of your choices sound great to me.The Olympic Gold/Black combination is STUNNING and I'm a sucker for Hugger Orange/Black.

I think it's all about what makes YOU most happy and the hell with the critics

I agree with you. Your hugger orange Z/28 will look sweet sitting between two tuxedo black Z/28's. I'm hoping that you are planning on posting a few picture of this as soon as it happens. I'm a big fan of the hugger orange myself here is a picture of my car. I just sent the pictures to Bruce to post in the members rides. The frost green took a while to get use to but I seen a really nice one this summer at a show that had black stripes and a vinyl top and dark green interior. WOW was that a nice car. Jesse
