Default What are your thoughts on this Cougar?

I am considering placing a bid; looking for some input from you guys since everyone is so knowledgeable.
Thanks,

Nice looking car with some really nice options and modifications. But I would think about RESALE $$$ in the future!I think for that amount of $$$$ you would want something special that would hold its value.I personally do not think this car will hold the $$$ value. Not to say it is not a super nice car because it sure looks and sounds like a quality restore.Just think about the future a little.A nice 69 Camaro is more likely to bring more in the future!
Just my 2cents worth

I was thinking about that too. I just don't think I would be satisfied with a base Camaro and the SS and Z's are getting too far out of reach for me. Hell even clean base Camaros are bringing 20,000+.

Thanks for your input.

Dave,
What a spiffy ride. Yes there are mods to it, but they are done tastefully and appears like all around professional work. Probably will appreciate at a snails pace, but what a lot of car you could get at a potentially reasonable price . It all depends on your strategy. If you want an investment - wave off! If you want a beautiful, fun toy, this may be a contender.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Nice car. It sits too high though. This is not a great investment car but you could sure have alot of fun with it. Maybe lower it 2" and put some aftermarket wheels on it.

Buy with your heart, don't worry about the resale - your personal enjoyment will more than make up for any lack of monetary appreciation.

I agree with Marlin. Go with your heart. If having this car will make you happy...go for it. If you're solely lookng for an investment...look elsewhere.

I don't see a lot of Cougars at the shows I frequent in AZ. If you buy the car...you will definitely get a LOT of looks with it.

If you buy it...drive it! There's nothing better than a drive in a cool car to relax you.
