Wow...what a wicked little combo that booger must be! Any idea what the curb weight is on it? Nice, nice, nice...

Saw one of these beasts at the AJ Chandler Park all Chevy (sponsored by Brown & Brown Chevrolet of Mesa) car show today. Never knew of the short run of these '66 450 HP beauties. It was a red coupe and absolutely fine and fine! Best of luck.

BTW, what is the factory compression ratio of these cars?

Bruce,

Good show. Dominated by tri-5's but plenty of camaros, novas, vettes, velles, etc. Unfortuanately did not have camera . Sort of stumbled on it when I took my son to take his SAT test. Instead of going back home I just spent a few hours oogling over some nice iron (and fiberglass too). Was particularly impressed with a sweet '69 RS Z 72/72 X33 Norwood car with much unrestored original under hood (including smog). Rear defog, and AM/FM w/ front & rear speaker. Couldn't find the owner.

I made the mistake of writing down the cell phone number. Best bet is to call the house. 914-725-3421.

I am not sure of the compression. I would assume 11 to 1 or around there? The curb weight is 3140 lbs. Thanks for the compliments.

For more pictures, email or call.

Same specs as the COPO-L72s. The Corvettes did have better flowing exhaust manifolds as well as a better dual muffler system than at least the Camaros.

Where do you speculate Don Yenko got his 450hp L72 rating from????

btw, very cool car

Some pretty high honors with NCRS score of over 98% and a PV.
