J series fit O.K, but it wasn't tall enough with the 456/488 rear--We tried grinding the inner rear wheel well lip as close to the weld as possible --you could get the L series underneath then, but you would just cut up the tire on a hard launch-----------The air shocks helped to get the rear in the air to avoid this, but you were defeateding the purpose of larger tires by throwing off the weight distribution by raising the rear up too high----Flaring the rear wheel well brought the car down to the right angle and I could stuff more than enough rubber in tire or slick that I needed------------------------Motion had Koni back then also

Same here Joe...nice to see ya posting again...Though we'll have to agree to disagree...Even though I'm in Arizona now...I still have got to root for those Angels!

To be honest,--I didn't think them Yanks were gonna make it--Very Happy --I was wrong------------The Resto is winding down--hope to have it home b-4 Christmas---Its been long time with some obstacles, but I made a promise I would see it thru-----
