Default Re: M21 vs Doug Nash/Richmond 5 speed

I am running 3.90's with a 28" tall tire currently. And, yes it is the 3.27 first gear trans. I am thinking that 3.23 or 3.55 would be best for the 5 speed and possibly even 4.56's with M-21. This is just a car that doesn't get used nearly enough and will never see a highway trip. Thanks for the help.

Hey Bill,

Sorry for the delay but, Crash answered your question.

The 3.90's will be geared too low. I using a 3.42:1, 28" tires with a 3.27:1 1st gear Richmond 6 speed. I would not want my car geared any lower.

Regards, Jody
