That is pretty cool. They did a nice job on the '69 tooling. Wanna see something really scary? Does anyone here have one of the Revell 'Creative Masters' yellow Z-28 prototypes from '89? I saw one of these go for over $2K on ebay in 1999. ![]() The original Creative Masters die-cast cars ( Z/28 in this example ) were unparalleled for detail & quality. Nobody did die-cast like those guys. Sadly, that company went out of business. I believe Revell bought the rights to the tooling, but I may be wrong on that. I was in one of those bidding wars on a 69 CM Z/28 die-cast on eBay in the past. Wish I had stayed in it ! They are like hens teeth now. Wonder if someone would trade me my 69 CX coded THM400 for a Creative Masters '69 Z/28. What am I saying? ![]() Steve
