If I were to try and make it run it would mean abandoning Musclecars, buying bib overalls, getting a train conductors hat and hanging out with the antique tractor guys. I think I will just try to hang the parts back on it and make a nice lawn ornament....

Mr 70 found it pretty quick Charley !!! I wouldn't go trying to get it running either...it's a high pressure boiler...it needs professional help or you will have one hell of an explosion on your hands..MR 70 now you have to find a boiler explosion pic...

I'm also into old tractors. My dad and I was at the Canfield Ohio Fair the day before that tractor blew up killing all those people. Our local club invited some members of a club up in that area last year and on the subject they said rivets and pieces of metal were stuck into buildings, cars and parking lots 1/2 mile away from the blast. (The owner let the water level get too low in the tractor that blew up btw)
I was at a show several weeks back and the 80 year old owner of a steam tractor was training a younger guy to run the tractor. The 80 year old was on the ground and the younger guy asked him which way to pull the leaver and the older guy said "I always forget myself-push it forward and see what happens" Needless to say I got out of there in a hurry.

Restored a 1941 Ford 9N several years ago. Made in October 28 1941. Sold it to buy acreage. Now have a 1957 New Holland Super Hayliner 68 baler I'm going to restore. Always stored with little rust. Very easy resto..and cheap too. I paid $350 for the baler and other than several new bearings, sandblast sand, few gallons of paint and new tires will have no other money involved.

Here's something neat to go with the old tractors. Hey, nobody else has one of these.
