They were used beyond 69... at least through 1970, and many dealers probably bolted them to the front of new cars even after that.

Probably depended on how many were laying around and what Dealerships got the "NEW" Chevy slogans first.

Each dealer seemed to have personalized the USA-1 plate.
The Wagoner uses brighter colors and is embossed. The Clark plate is non embossed and darker in color. Both of these are originals. ![]() |
