I agree bud but most buyers like the fluffed up look,if its not shiney with alot of chevy orange paint they don,t wanna see it
 its kinda like a double blade sword ur dammed if ya do because it affects the orginality, dammed if ya don,t because it looks like s*#t.Iam at least gonna get the right hoses and clamps on it and go from there???Here is a pic of the car when it was only a month old..

still forsale
will be at fall carlisle next weekend a few pix are attached, car cleaned up super nice for orig paint and added the ss stripe also....thanx

Even thou the car went for 36 yrs without the stripe i thought it looked to plain,if i were on that car lot in 69 i would have ordered it.The stripe is a 3m kit and can easly be removed by a future owner if desired,but as long as its in my stable ill enjoy the car and drive the
out of it while i admire the stripe all i need now are the wide treads...

The stripe sets it off nice...looks way better with it than without
