It looks like the auction will also be on Ebay Live. Ebay Listings I believe that this auction is being put on by Kruse International, which I think is owned by Ebay. By any chance does anybody have an extra pass for Saturday?

Did anyone see this one? It is the oldest Corvette in existance. VIN # E53F001003. The 3rd Vette built. Estimated value $2.5 to $5 million.

CTChevelle,
------I take my hat off to whomever is promoting this auction. There is a heck of a list of great cars going thru, and I very much hope (for both altruistic and self-serving reasons) that the auction does well. With that said, I have a high degree of mistrust for any endeavor that a certain long time auctioneers name pops up anywhere near. ------I will restate in a bit different way: There is no earthly reason why this auction should do badly looking at the list of entrants. If the right bidders are there a lot of money will change hands and a lot of people will go home happy. But if that auctioneer is involved, know where your title is at all times and keep an hourly lookout for your check. The squeaky wheel gets the grease as they say. GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!!!!!!!!.........Bill S |
