[ QUOTE ]
Jeff, -------Just went on your website and really liked it. Very informative! Great pics! Loved your Vettes! Am I really seeing a 63 red roadster with blue interior??? If so was that the original combo??? Must be one of a kind. Sorry for the minor hi-jack. I couldnt help myself!.........Bill S [/ QUOTE ] Yes, You see that correctly. I have a former owner to thank for that. The car is really Silver Blue metalic, with Dark blue interior. A real shame, because the car was 100% original, except a dealer got a hold of it in the mid 90's and put this crappy red paint right over the original color.(Resale Red?) I will restore the car someday, and put it back. But for now it is the only car I can really enjoy. I drive it to work a few times a week, and every weekend. I even park it on the street at the Bar scene in Ft. Lauderdale. Don't really worry about chips, or stuff like that. I know, that when I paint the car, I would no longer drive it as much as I do. anyways, The paint really looks much better in the pictures than it really is. There is nothing I can do to "little Red" That hasn't been done 1000 times. Thanks for Asking! Jeff ![]() |
