Heres the same info I posted on Camaros.net:
Tag info added to the auction, no picture of it though: VIN 124677N236170 O5A R 67-12667 NOR136896 732-Z O-1 D2MG 3SL 4K 5Y- Don't know what this means maybe the stock number whan it was sold by MotorCity MOTOR 1CTY 10W302354 It definately has a repro tag, interior and exterior codes are correct, as are most of the options but the body number is way to high for an 05A built car. So it probably is the correct body number on a repro tag with the build date changed and 4K added. 1 = Chevrolet 2 = Camaro 4 = 8-cylinder engine 67 = convertible body 7 = 1967 model year N = Norwood, OH assembly plant 236170 = vehicle serial number sequence Decode for body number: 136896 05A = Built the First week of May. (CHANGED BUILD DATE) 67-12667 = Custom Interior Convertible. NOR = Built in Norwood Ohio. 732 = Custom Bright Blue Bucket Seats. Z = (A50) Strato Bucket Seats. O-1 = Lower Color is SPECIAL PAINT and the Convertible Top Color is White. R = Interior paint is Bright Blue Options: 1D = (C06) Power top convertible 2M = (M35) Powerglide Transmission 2G = (D55) Console front compartment 3S = (Z23) Interior Decor group 3L = (Z22) Rally Sport Package 4K = (L78) SS 396 (ADDED CODE) 5Y = (A39) Belts All Deluxe - = Special Order/Fleet Code Heres the original options the car came with: A39 B37 B93 C05 C06 D55 D91 F41 J50 LF7 M35 N30 N40 N61 PW6 P02 U25 U26 U28 U35 U63 V31 V48 Z22 Z23 Z87 The car had a 396 700R4 trans and 4.10 gears in early 2003 and then showed up at BJ Scottsdale with the L78 later in 2003. Don't know when the tag got swapped. |

![]() Someone took a real Pace Car (and a very rare one to boot) and made a fake Pace Car out of it???? ![]() ![]() WTF... I got to think that the 1 of 10 Canadian 327 Pace Car would be worth more then that fake Pace Car! What kind of rocket scientist came up with that move?? ![]() Rick H. |

Hi guys, just too add my 2 cents in on this. If you look at the pics the car has pdb but the center caps read cmd, not pdb there is a camaro emble on the glovebox door never seen one on a 67 and heres the best part look at the gauges (gas and speed)they are silver and shiny like the 68's. Theres more but i type too slow. I like reading your comments on the e-bay cars they have been very insightful. thanks aw

I have a former owner to thank for that. The car is really Silver Blue metalic, with Dark blue interior. A real shame, because the car was 100% original, except a dealer got a hold of it in the mid 90's and put this crappy red paint right over the original color.(Resale Red?) I will restore the car someday, and put it back. But for now it is the only car I can really enjoy. I drive it to work a few times a week, and every weekend. I even park it on the street at the Bar scene in Ft. Lauderdale. Don't really worry about chips, or stuff like that. I know, that when I paint the car, I would no longer drive it as much as I do. anyways, The paint really looks much better in the pictures than it really is. There is nothing I can do to "little Red" That hasn't been done 1000 times. Thanks for Asking! Jeff ![]() |
