Thanks Rick, it was great to see you at SCR8, along with all the cool memorabilia you brought along! I really like those Chevrolet Sports Department signs..
Excuse my ignorance, but is there a different rear lift bracket on a 1970 big block? My L78 did not have one front or rear, we used accessory bolt holes to hoist the engine out.. -Sam ![]()

So I got a set of engine lift brackets off eBay for my L78, and it's easy to see how to mount the front one, on the front two driver side inlet manifold bolts.
But where does that rear one mount, and at what angle? Is it the inboard accessory bolt hole in the back of the passenger head? Does the tab stick straight up? ![]()
